Middlesbrough Appeal Against Adama’s Red Card.

Middlesbrough have launched an appeal against the red card midfielder Adama Traore received in Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship draw at Aston Villa.
The former Villa winger was dismissed by card happy referee James Linington for a fourth-minute challenge on Conor Hourihane and is facing a three-match ban if the punishment stands.

Garry Monk told a press conference: “We’ll find out this afternoon, we’re looking for a bit of justice with that.”

Villa had Henri Lansbury sent off for a tackle on Marvin Johnson 64 minutes into the 0-0 draw in the Midlands, and they too have appealed against the decision.
