Middlesbrough are believed to have placed a price tag on the head of winger Adama Traore in an attempt to ward off interest.
Traore was one of Boro’s key men last season as his five goals and 10 assists helped Boro make the play-offs but his impressive performances mean top-flight clubs are now keen.
Traore has recently been linked with Everton and West Ham, amongst others, but Boro hope to keep him and have put a price-tag on his head as they attempt to deter summer bids.
The sum placed on his head is currently unknown, however some of the tabloid press are taking their own guesses as to what it may be, a pinch of salt maybe needed to be taken with some.
Holding on to Traore in the Championship may prove tricky for Pulis, though, who is well aware the winger has the potential to be a star in the Premier League.
Traore has been at the Riverside Stadium since joining from Aston Villa two years ago and is under contract with Boro until summer 2020.
